Founding Partner Spotlight: Sunseeker
Sunseeker enters a new era with the Manhattan 94, new leadership and a bold brand vision
As part of our Founding Partner Spotlight series, we’re taking a closer look at the four founding partners who have shaped the British Motor Yacht Show since its inception in 2013. For Sunseeker, 2026 has brought significant developments, from new leadership and a refreshed brand identity to the world premiere of the Manhattan 94 and progress on its next generation of superyachts.
For more than five decades, Sunseeker has been synonymous with British motor yacht design and manufacturing, with its headquarters and production facilities based in Poole, Dorset.
This year has marked an important new chapter for the company, bringing together an ambitious product strategy, renewed investment and a clear vision for its future.
A new chapter under Scott Millar
In October 2026, Scott Millar took up the permanent position of Chief Executive Officer, following an earlier period working with the company on its transformation and strategic development.
With extensive experience across international businesses, including McLaren, Millar brings a strong focus on leadership, operational performance and long-term growth.
His appointment follows a period of significant change for the manufacturer, including the introduction of new long-term owners, Cross Ocean Partners and Cheyne Capital, and the development of a five-year growth plan.
The Manhattan 94 takes centre stage at Cannes

One of the year’s major highlights was the world premiere of the Sunseeker Manhattan 94 at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
At 28.6 metres, the new flagship of the Manhattan range introduces generous living spaces and a distinctive full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, alongside four guest cabins below.
The yacht’s combination of contemporary design, flexible accommodation and indoor-outdoor living was recognised at the World Yacht Trophies, where it received the award for Best Exterior Design in the 80–98ft category.
Cannes also provided the setting for Sunseeker to introduce its refreshed brand identity, celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship and independent thinking that have shaped the company.
The new brand direction brings greater clarity to its portfolio, organised around four principal families: Predator, Manhattan, Ocean and Superyacht.
A new milestone for the Sunseeker 134 Superyacht

Closer to home, another significant development came when the first Sunseeker 134 Superyacht arrived in Poole in October following completion of its initial construction phase in Portland.
Measuring approximately 40 metres, the yacht represents an important addition to Sunseeker’s Superyacht range and demonstrates the scale of its manufacturing capabilities in Dorset.
With the hull, superstructure and core engineering systems complete, work has moved to Sunseeker’s dedicated superyacht facility in Poole, where attention turns to technical integration, bespoke interiors and finishing.
The yacht will feature a striking Extreme Black hull, commissioned by its owner.
The project marks another milestone in Sunseeker’s development of larger yachts and its continued commitment to British boatbuilding.
Looking ahead to 2027
As one of the British Motor Yacht Show’s four founding partners, Sunseeker has played an important role in the event since 2013.
With new leadership, a refreshed brand identity and an evolving range of motor yachts and superyachts, Sunseeker enters 2027 with plenty to look forward to.
The British Motor Yacht Show returns to Premier’s Swanwick Marina from 20–23 May 2027, where visitors will have the opportunity to discover more from Sunseeker and meet its specialist representatives.
Details of the yachts on display will be announced nearer the event.
