Founding Partner Spotlight: Fairline Yachts

Fairline Yachts: New models, British craftsmanship and an ambitious future

As part of our Founding Partner Spotlight series, we’re taking a closer look at the four founding partners who have shaped the British Motor Yacht Show since its inception in 2013. For Fairline, 2026 has been a year of new model launches, renewed momentum and ambitious plans for the future of British motor yacht manufacturing.

From its manufacturing base in Oundle, Northamptonshire, Fairline has continued to develop its Targa range, introducing new models that combine contemporary styling, performance and the practical qualities associated with the brand.

Looking ahead to 2027, Fairline is preparing for a new phase of product development, supported by a seven-year roadmap for future models.

Fairline Targa 47 GT makes European Debut at British Motor Yacht Show

The Targa range has been a particular focus throughout 2026.

The Targa 47 Open made its world debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

At the British Motor Yacht Show in May, Fairline showcased the new Targa 47 GT alongside the 2026 Targa 50 Edition, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the latest developments in the range.

September brought another significant milestone with the world premiere of the Fairline Targa 58 GTO at the Cannes Yachting Festival, followed by its UK debut at the Southampton International Boat Show.

The Targa 58 GTO introduces a new design direction for Fairline, combining the character of the established Targa family with contemporary styling and versatile spaces for entertaining and cruising.

Building on Fairline’s British heritage

Following the company’s acquisition in 2025, joint CEOs Oliver Southwell and Daniel Mundy have set out a long-term strategy focused on product development, manufacturing quality and sustainable growth.

Speaking to Marine Industry News earlier this year, Southwell outlined a seven-year product roadmap, with plans to introduce new models and updates to established favourites on an annual basis.

The strategy builds on Fairline’s strengths in the 40–60ft market, with an emphasis on developing yachts that reflect how owners use their boats.

British manufacturing remains a priority, with Fairline securing its Oundle production facilities under a new ten-year lease.

Looking ahead to 2027

With a series of new model launches and an ambitious product development strategy, Fairline enters 2027 with a continued focus on British craftsmanship, innovation and the next generation of motor yachts.

As one of the four founding partners, Fairline has played an important role in the British Motor Yacht Show since its inception in 2013.

The show returns to Premier’s Swanwick Marina from 20–23 May 2027, where visitors will once again have the opportunity to explore the Fairline range and meet its specialist representatives.

Details of the yachts on display will be announced nearer the event.
