We take full control of our clients’ yacht transportation process—from the initial quote to unloading at the destination. Our seamless service removes the stress of moving yachts, even addressing unforeseen risks like orca attacks in the Mediterranean, ensuring yachts are safely stowed away on our large vessels. Safety is paramount during transport. Our crew conducts daily checks, ensuring yachts are securely locked and protected. They use specialised lift belt protection during loading and unloading and meticulously plan every lift with the highest levels of care. The yachts are also cradled to minimise any risk of damage during transit.

The most frequent routes include travel from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean and back, from the Mediterranean to the USA and Caribbean, as well as to the Middle East, Oceania, and Asia. Sevenstar’s comprehensive network ensures smooth transport to nearly any global destination.

The preparation process involves working closely with the Sevenstar team to complete necessary documentation and ensure your yacht is ready for transport. For sailing yachts, the mast remains up (with backstays down for lifting), while fuel and black water should be minimal. The team ensures all specifications are met before loading.

After receiving the offer, Sevenstar arranges lifts to and from the ship, providing a cradle for the yacht, transport insurance and even helping with customs clearance. Clients receive updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the yacht’s estimated arrival time. Payment is structured with a 25% deposit upon booking and the remaining balance before loading.

We offer several transport methods, including ‘mast up’ shipping on our own geared vessels, as well as underdeck transport on container ships or roll-on-roll-off ships. For larger yachts, we provide a semi-submersible vessel option, allowing yachts to float on and off without lifting, ideal for heavier vessels.
