British built Fairline Targa 47 GT to make European debut at British Motor Yacht Show 2026

First wave of exhibitors confirmed for appointment-led showcase at Premier Marinas’ Swanwick Marina

The British Motor Yacht Show has confirmed that the new Fairline Targa 47 GT will make its European debut at the 2026 event, taking place at Premier’s Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble, Hampshire, from 14–17 May 2026.

The Fairline Targa 47 GT represents a bold evolution of the Targa range, featuring a contemporary exterior profile, a modern glassbridge helm and a flexible two-stateroom, two-head layout, including a spacious mid-master cabin. Buyers can choose between Open and GT configurations, offering a balance of sporty performance and all-weather versatility, with Volvo Penta engine options delivering confident handling and engaging cruising speeds.

Fairline’s decision to present the Targa 47 GT at the British Motor Yacht Show reflects both the brand’s British heritage and the show’s positioning as a natural platform for significant European debuts.

A Fairline spokesperson said:

“As a British-owned brand with boats built in Britain, the British Motor Yacht Show was the natural choice for the first European presentation of the Fairline Targa 47 GT. The show’s appointment-led format provides the right environment for buyers to properly experience the yacht’s design and layout, and to have informed, unhurried conversations with our team.”

Now entering its 13th year, the British Motor Yacht Show is presented by founding partners Premier Marinas, Fairline, Princess Yachts and Sunseeker, and is dedicated exclusively to luxury motor yachts. Positioned at the start of the European boating season, the show offers a considered alternative to large-scale boat shows, encouraging meaningful engagement and informed decision-making.

Alongside an extensive display of Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker vessels – representing the largest combined showcase these founding partners will present anywhere in the UK in 2026 – the show has also confirmed its first wave of exhibitors, offering early insight into the calibre and diversity of boats and brands set to be showcased on the water at Swanwick Marina.

Among the first exhibitors confirmed is Ancasta, which will present Beneteau, Bluegame, Prestige Yachts and Protector Boats. Argo Yachting will showcase Pardo Yachts, Galeon Yachts and Saxdor Yachts, while Saltwater Solutions will present the Scandinavian performance brand Windy, and SE Yachts will display models from Navan and Delta Powerboats.

The 2026 show will also welcome several respected boatbuilders, underlining the breadth of craftsmanship on display. These include Pembrokeshire-based DALE Motor Yachts, Dutch yard B. Van den Hoven Jachtbouw, and Cornwall-based Cockwells, presenting its award-winning Hardy and Duchy ranges.

Complementing the afloat line-up, the show will feature a select number of specialist marine service providers supporting the ownership journey, including Nautafix and Permateek.

The British Motor Yacht Show is supported by its Main Sponsors, CGI Finance and Pelican Insured, whose expertise aligns closely with the show’s emphasis on quality, trust and informed decision-making.
