The UK marine industry gathered in anticipation as the winners of the 2025 Motor Boat Awards were unveiled, celebrating the finest achievements in motor yacht design, innovation and performance.

Among the winners, the founding partners of the British Motor Yacht Show – Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker – shone brightly, reinforcing the UK’s position as a leader in luxury yacht craftsmanship.

We were also delighted to see show exhibitors Pearl Yachts and Axopar receive awards, further highlighting the strength of brands showcased at the show.

British Motor Yacht Show founding partners triumph

Fairline’s Targa 40, which featured at the 2024 British Motor Yacht Show, claimed victory in the Best Sportscruiser up to 45ft category, impressing judges with its seamless blend of style, practicality and exhilarating performance.

Princess Yachts also secured a prestigious win with the Princess S72, which was named Best Sportscruiser over 45ft.  The S72 exemplifies the brand’s ability to push the boundaries of innovation while maintaining its signature refined aesthetic. Notably, 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of Princess Yachts, a milestone that will be celebrated at this year’s British Motor Yacht Show.

Meanwhile, Sunseeker’s Predator 55 received a Highly Commended recognition in the same category, a testament to the brand’s unwavering commitment to excellence. This year’s show will see the UK debut of this dynamically designed and powerful motor boat.

A landmark win for Pearl Yachts

Pearl Yachts continues its ascent in the luxury yacht market with the Pearl 82, winner of Best Flybridge over 60ft. Adding to the excitement, Pearl Yachts will debut its Pearl 63 to UK audiences at this year’s British Motor Yacht Show.

Axopar’s winning streak

The highly competitive Best Sportsboat up to 30ft category saw the Axopar 29 emerge as the winner. Replacing the much-loved Axopar 28, this new model enhances comfort, safety, and versatility while maintaining the thrilling performance for which the brand is known.

The Axopar 29 made its UK debut at the 2024 British Motor Yacht Show, showcasing its cutting-edge design to British buyers before clinching this well-deserved accolade.

The 2025 Motor Boat Awards have once again highlighted the talent and ingenuity driving the marine industry forward.
